I was to young to hang out back then But my sister would sneak in Benny’s to hang out with her friends . God for bid if we were caught in Benny’s or Cordes my dad would have killed us lolol

As I was reading I noticed someone said that Cordes was across from the Embassy theater but it wasn’t. Cordes was on Fulton and Norwood . MOms was across from the theater and longs was on Fulton near Cresent St. There was also a place next to the Embassy called Benny’s where lots from the neighborhood hung out.
