I WORKED AS AN USHER AT THE EARL BUT DID MANY OTHER JOBS THERE, LIKE CHANGE THE MARQUEE WHEN A NEW FILM CAME IN OR CARRY THE FILM CASES UPSTAIRS TO THE PROJECTION ROOM, THE CASES WERE 6 SIDED AND HEAVY, I MISS THE EARL VERY MUCH, I REMEMBER WE USE TO GO ON THE ROOF TO WATCH A BASEBALL GAME IN YANKEE STADIUM, THERE IS A WOOD WATER TANK ON THE ROOF AND UNDER WAS A WOODEN BENCH THAT WE SAT ON,I COULD WRITE SO MANY THINGS ABOUT THE EARL NEXT TO THE EARL WAS THE ( JEROME CAFETERIA ) AND NEXT TO IT ON THE CORNER WAS A NEWSPAPER STORE THAT HAD CIGARETTES FROM AROUND THE WORLD, ACROSS THE STREET WAS A ENTRANCE TO THE SUBWAY AND THERE WAS A STORE WERE I HAD A 2 CENTS PLAIN SODA OR A MILK SHAKE, ON THE EARL SIDE WAS I THINK A BOHACK OR A 6 S SUPERMARKT, AND ACROSS WAS A CHOCK FULL OF NUT COFFEE SHOP, THIS WAS ALL IN THE 1960s AND TO LAST I ALSO CHANGED THE FILM POSTERS AND STILL IN THE SHOW CASES.
