HERE IS THE ACTUAL HISTORY OF GREENVILLE’S PLAZA THEATRE:

1972: ABC Southern Theatres opens the Plaza Theatre.

1977: The Plaza Theatre becomes part of Plitt Southern Theatres.

1980: Plitt splits the auditorium to make it the Plaza Twin Cinemas.

1986: Plaza Twin Cinemas becomes part of United Artists Theatres.

2002: Plaza Twin Cinemas becomes part of Regal Entertainment Group.

2003: Regal closes the Plaza Twin Cinemas.
