View toward the ticket window. Earlier, the Orinda had a freestanding box office, and for many years its location was marked by a plain grey concrete octagonal patch. When the theater was restored in the late 80s, the patch was removed, and a terrazzo pattern was created to fill the spot. I do not know if the present ticket window dates from the Orinda’s opening (perhaps an auxiliary box office?) or if it was added later.
