Here’s a little-known fact on this theater: In 1980, it became the very first theater in the MJR chain.

I found out that it opened in 1996. And yes, MJR does stand for “Movies Just Right.”

I believe this opened in 1990 as a six-screen multiplex and expanded to 10 in the mid-1990’s.
