Description - A picture palace waiting to be re-born while the stained glass portals shine light into the darkness. A ladder waits ready in the corner and we are reminded of the many wonderful memories this building must have collected over the decades.

The Capitol Theatre was closed on 18th May 1977. The theatre building still sits on Main Street W in 2021, operating as a café with a cinema theme.

Most of the original fittings are still intact. The business is known as 229 On Main Café with Peterborough Antiques and Removals located alongside the theatre.
