I remember seeing GREASE from our station wagon in my pajamas at the drive in!!! Does anyone remember the rooler/ice skate rink across the street???
The function of the site is not RETAIL but the home of Grace Apostolic Church of Uniondale. It still have the original seats and the sloping floors.
Faith Baptist Church, originally located at 145 S. Franklin St., has purchased the building and is still on “Phase One” of it’s extensive renovations.
The theatre is now owned and operated by DRC Fellowship Church. The gold dome is still there and DMV rents office space in the rear.
The site is now owned and operated by Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.
