The Ball Theater opened in 1937 with 437 seats, built and operated by Walter “Hucks” Betts a former Major League pitcher with the Boston Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies. It lasted as a movie house until 1974. After closing the theater, the building was used as a church. In 2017, it was renovated and reopened with a new name, the Millstone Theater.
