I believe that this photograph was taken some time prior to 1959. After that time I lodged in the building to the rear far left which was a chip shop.The road leading to the Rialto from Old Church Road was am unmade gravel road that terminated just past the hall. From there onwards it led to some allotments and lanes behind the buildings facing the main Whitchurch highway.
