1.) Lombard is a great little community. Just this week we opened a new 500 room Westin hotel/convention center. The BIGGEST convention center in DuPage county…which should draw plenty of people. Plus we have lilacia park and our Lilac Parade which draws thousands of people from everywhere. That answers your “draw†questions. There are plenty of other things too many to list.

Why did only 60 people (including many children) show up at the “save the theatre rally� My guess is that your comment is an opinion and NOT a fact.

Nobody, except for a couple dozen people, really cared, yet people keep moving in and PLENTY of new homes have been built over those twenty years, and plenty more are being built. You would have thought that the friends group would have promoted this video, that included a piece on the DuPage Theatre. I guess with all their lawsuits and political ramblings they forgot their mission.
Just as an update to this video, Demolition of the DuPage Theatre is now complete, and all that remains is clean-up.
LTS, Cinema Treasures has been shutting down all the Dupe’s threads, I suggest sending them an email about this thread asking them to shut it down. I have sent them many emails and they respond pretty well.
