In the 1940’s Babcock Theater installed 2 of These Simplex E7 35MM Projectors with Peerless Carbon Arc Lamp house. The E7 was Mfg from 1939-1947 and one of the most Popular Model Projectors used in Indoor Theaters across the Country. Considered Real Work Horses. These Projectors if maintained could go a Lifetime of Service. Used for close to 3 Decades before Digital Projection came about. 35MM Film is still considered by many to still be Superior to what is used to day.
