  • <p>The Surf was our home, for awhile, back in 1955. My dad managed the Surf and the Twin Palms Drive-in. This is a frame grab from 8mm footage he shot while we were living there–inside the theater screen! You can barely discern the cartoon images that graced the front of the screen.</p>
