  • <p>The Hilltop Drive-In opened on the 4th of July 1963 with a double feature of “Follow That Dream” and “Sergeants Three”. The original owner and operator was the Jeha Family who also ran the Park Theatre in El Sobrante. It was later acquired by the Syufy circuit who also ran the Rancho Drive-In in San Pablo.</p>

  • <p>It’s the 400-space Starvue launching Oct. 4, 1949. The theater had a child’s playground and an outdoor seating area for those not wanting to view from the car.</p>
  • <p>Moxley & Moxley Theaters started the Starvue Drive-In launching with “Fury at Furnace Creek” on October 4, 1949. The Moxleys would sell out to the McCuthchens who had owned the Gem and still had the Roxy and Ritz Theaters in Blytheville.</p>
