Liberty Theatre
The timber hall shown on top, originally located on The Mall halfway between the shopping center block and the Masonic Hall/Liberty site, was used by St Albans for services until their brick church in Megalong Street was opened in July 1909. That building was registered for use as ‘Leura Public Hall’ on 16th December 1909. This license was revoked 31st December 1913 as soon as St Albans new School Hall (above) became available for public performances.
