This advertisement for the second week of operation, claims presentation ‘with Perfect Sound and Vision’. The sound and screen system were claimed to be ’the largest in Australia’. The in-car speaker system familiar to readers had not yet been developed, and so the occupants of motor vehicles would have needed to put the roof down, or keep their windows open, to hear the soundtrack from a traditional cinema speaker source near the screen.
