Hoyts De-Luxe (artistically enhanced FOH photo) a few days before opening - published in the Melbourne Herald Friday 26 March 1915. The first floor sign advertises: ‘This Warehouse To Let Four Large Flats’. The cinema Entrance took up only the right half of the Bourke Street frontage ground floor, with Dress Circle foyer on second floor directly above. Remainder of this end of the building was rented out as a shop and commercial space.
