About the Hi-Ho or Hi-Ho Corral,I’d have to go look but I believe the building is still there.May be part now of the old Cream crest dairy or what ever it’s called now.Pokey(actually my cat’s name)
Yes would like to see pictures you have.Previous reply was my wife’s two-cents worth. The info in my first reply is absolutely accurate. The Harlandale theater was located between the little row of businesses(north of Southcross on the west side of S.Flores)and the first house(white I believe)north. The theater lot was deep but very narrow.Doesn’t seem that long to me when all these places were still around.

The pink buuilding that you are referring to use to be a Winn’s and possibly a Handy Andy’s before that, but not the theater. I would love pictues to see if we are talking about the same place. Thanks for the input.

My third attempt at sending this info. This must be a very old sight,as the Harlandale theater was demolished many years ago.Only after it’s complete removal, the empty lot has been fenced in and used to store heavy equipment or construction stuff.I used to walk through the old theater as a child,my mother says we actually saw movies there.I certainly don’t recall that, but I do remember many trips to the beautiful Majestic,Texas,Aztec & others downtown.Wished I had photos. Can tell info on many drive-ins.There was another old indoor theater on the southside, the Hi-Ho or Hi-HO Corral on S.Presa.Please reply.
