the theater has been vibrant since 2014, hosting upwards of 27,000 patrons a year
they shut during covid, but quickly reopened with safety measures in place as a way to stay open
today, it is a mix of music, comedy, and films
several major motion pictures shot locally in RI have had their local premieres here
interior renovations were done between 2016 and 2020, adding balcony seating and a second floor lounge, bringing the capacity to 484
the old projectors (2) were still in place when Gerald visited in 2005, and one is on display in the 2nd floor lounge
an old poster box that hung outside - and was changed weekly - is also on display and hangs upstairs, as does the last version of the backlit marquee panel
