Following an extensive remodel, the Leslie Theater was re-named Carol Theater on April 22, 1954, reopening with Bob Hope in “Here Come the Girls”. It was closed in 1969, but reopened following another makeover and taken over by R. Paul Milet Theatres on May 31, 1970 with Clark Gable in “Gone With the Wind”.
