The Chic opens around the corner from the Henn - a whimsical pairing of bird names Chic/Henn - by Preston Jefferson “P.J.” Henn. The opening films was “Cadet Girl” on February 3, 1942. The Henn and Chic would consolidate here when P.J. Henn opened his Andrews' Henn Theatre on February 25, 1944.
