Thank you for making the attempt to answer the theater’s net profit question. I have an opportunity to become the landlord of a theater building which is doing very well. THe theater lessee owns couple of discount movie theater in town. If the theater owner decides in the next 2 years that he does not want to continue leasing the building, what can the landlord do as far as looking for another theater lessee is concerned ? Although the landlord is a shrewd businessman, can he handle the movie theater business? can he compete ? what is his advantage and disadvantage ?
I see movie theater that offers ticket price of $2, can they survive? Apparently, food business perhaps will make up the profit for the operation ?
