I lived as a kid in North Hollywood from ‘75-'80 (Whitsett Ave. & Coldwater Canyon Ave.) and this theater played a big part in my life (ages 9-13). I recently Google-mapped it and checked out the “street-view” image â€" it sure looks crappy 30 years later! I remember seeing Star Wars, Moonraker, Grease (don’t laugh), Every Which Way But Loose, and many other (often cheesy) classics that have a place in my heart. Many great memories here. Oh well, you can never go back!
