Lots of old movies, westerns, musicals. When I worked there in the early 50’s they didn’t show any kind of porn.
Was the Orange Julius next door when you went? The theater owned it too. Lot of beach muscles boys got the Julius with a raw egg mixed in it.
I worked at the Palace from 1953 to 1955. It was a clean will managed theater. They showed the “Outlaw with Jane Russell” Other theaters thought it was to raw to show. It ran for 2 weeks and had big crowds.
A “Orange Julius” was also run by the theater. I worked there too.
Sometime ate lunch at the Panama Cafe south of the theater.
