Formerly AMC Metro North Plaza 6 this theater charges only $2 per ticket. Only draw back is that the theaters themselves need cleaning. It smells like during the years that it was closed the roof leaked and has created a mildew smell.
The Closing of this theatre was probably directly related to a teenage boy shooting his mother in the middle of a crowded theatre. I remember that the theatre closed with in the year after the event accord. It is rumored that the carpet of the theatre is still stained. There has been talk of the space being renovated in to a food court for years but has not been seen. With Montgomery Wards going out of business the whole mall seems to be slowing closing up. I doubt that anything will open in this space.
