I grew up across the highway across from the drive in. All the kids in the Ranch Homes would sneak in the drive in all summer and see all the movies. I and my best friends Tim and Gery Botwright “I sadly Miss” had great times there.Our big brothers both worked there a summer or two. When The drive in opened and the lights came on it was Magic in the neighborhood the cars would be lined up on the shoulder of 222 with there lawn chairs, coolers and kids loaded in the family car.This was a big Family event that is not available any more.So sad that it’s gone!
