The above statement was not false, I am one of the “regular” customers who brought it to the attention of the staff. I didn’t find anything rude about, in fact it showed me that the employees cared enough to stick up for their work place. If this last statement was sent by a manager, you are fortunate to have employees who care about where they work. SHAME ON YOU! My kids and their friends are there like clockwork every Friday night. I also must say I found the young employee to be very kind and helpfull, not disgruntled. Disgruntled employees shoot people nowadays. That was a bit too harsh. Anyways, we will still enjoy our movies each week regardless. Such drama……
I have been going to Apple Valley for over 30 years. My best friend worked there, as well as five of her brothers and sisters. We payed 50 cents –$1.50 and we didn’t go for the comfortable seats. We went because there were and still are no long lines and it was OURS. What I mean by that is that this is where the locals went. I had many dates there and now so does my stepdaughter. Perhaps in this technological, spoiled world, people expected another IMAX, but the rest of us locals are just happy Apple Valley lives on. If you don’t like the snacks, bring your own. Most kids, including my young son will remember the movie experience, not all the other crap….
