At the end of the main foyer, the Dress Circle foyer was twice its width, extending to the right of this picture. There was a secondary refreshment bar at the head of the staircase. The term ‘Candy Bar’ is a relatively recent importation from American English. They were never known as such in the heyday of the movies.
