yup worked with dick bennick many times,,,,, at the kiddie show,(my main act was walking on glass barefoot), on the stage shows near halloween, (i was frankenstein’s monster)and as various characters on his tv show in high point,,, memories that are all treasured
first time i was in the newspaper,, reporter did a story about me walking on glass barefoot, the headline was"this 16 year old isn’t a fakir, that’s real glass he walks on" still have a yellowed copy, and will always treasure it

I remember how i discovered that,,, i was on stage for the first time to do my walking on glass act.. dick Bennick introduced me,i walked out looked up and,saw the exttra balcony…. what a surprise,,,, My thought was,wow even more kids to perform for…..treasure those

wow , first time i appeared as a clown for advertising a movie, the other clown is my long time friend bobby shouse,,he still lives in winston-salem, and we stay in touch. during the run of this movie,we sneaked into the christmas parade carrying a banner for the movie,,, all thanks to Dan Austel

I lived in winston salem,in the fifties and sixties,the stage of the carolina theater was the first public performing venue for me.walking on glass barefoot.
From that beginning,became,ronald mcdonald,,played with a touring band for 20years,joined the screen actors guild,have had speaking roles in 34 films and six tv series,thanks and rest in peace dear friend Dan Austel
