The architect for the Tivoli Theatre was Emile Weil who
was also the architect for the Saenger Theatre, New Orleans.
The Tivoli( Rhodes Funeral Home ) as of June 2008 is still unrestored from hurricane Katrina

The Avenue Theatre had as an original installation
a Wurlitzer Organ, Style D, 2 manuals 6 ranks. It was
Opus 1626 and installed 4/27/1927.

The Saenger was originally known as The Walnut. The organ
was a 2 manual 8 rank Robert Morton. The organist was
Maimo Minter.

The original organ in the theatre was an Aeolian Organ – 3 manual 11 ranks – Opus 1689 . It was installed in 1928. The current organ is
a Moller Organ, Opus 5230 , installed as 3 manuals 19 ranks in the Sedgwick Theatre, Mt. Airy ,Pa. in 1928.
