There was another drive-in off Hwy 19, NW of town off Hills St. It’s behind the spot labeled Village Kitchen. GE Historical shows the lot was redeveloped in the late 90’s or early 2000’s. That could have been the Meridian.
Currently has 2 assisted care facilities on the property, don’t think a 6 plex was ever built there. Old imagery makes it look like it was twinned at one point.
May be wrong, but a Redwood Drive-In on Redwood Ave makes sense….
About all I do in that case Ron, is find a business or two in the immediate area, Google them to get their exact address, and go from there. Occasionally addresses change. An old theater may be 431 Main St, but the new business in the same old building may use 433 Main St, as an example.

To make the map link work. Satellite view must be pre-2001, but the street view looks like 2 old screens on site. Found the entrance here, site still under construction, sigh says Opening Soon.
On the map link above, just scroll to the left a little… Address is off a tad. If you type in 9474 Telegraph Rd it takes you right to it.
I retract my restaurant looking building comment. Heck, with only 10 parking spaces…..
Pic of the Clanton Drive-In. Last Pic.

Usually Beltline just refers to a road that circles the city, doesn’t need to be an Interstate. Like Beltline Rd in Dallas.
Jane, according to the Historic Aerials link above on 12/6/08, the land the drive-in was still a vacant lot in the 1961 view….

Looks like a stiff wind could knock this thing down…..
My post on June 9 of the Historic Aerials shot would explain a lot of what the are looked like back then…….. You ought to try it.
Looks to be for sale. $150K and it’s yours… Both theaters and 3 acres.

As you look at the photos, the building on the right hand side survives today.
The lot is now occupied by Virginia Senior Citizens Center, using 511 Chestnut St. as their address.
Right where Ron said it was:

Never mind, found the screens on the overhead view. Hard to spot when there is no defined rows at all. The big old pond threw me off….
