This was opened by 1969 as the Chaparral Twin Cinema. It was renamed Backstage by 1975.

No, JEmidy, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom got the first PG 13 rating. It came out the weekend before memorial day in 1984.

It is. It opened as AMC Mesquite 30 in March, 1998. The Film-Tech website got the name wrong. It has the same design as the AMC Studio 30 in Houston.

I sure that someone else will reopen thin in weeks. It may give Carmike to increase thier New York holdings (They have one in Olean)

I have checked the Dallas Morning News online archives year by year 1950-1978 and find that it closed in 1963. I will upload the document in early November for the DFW area to my movie-theatre.org website.
