Thanks for the above photo Lost Memory, Nice try…. but NO, it is of the Picture House, 210 Great North Road, Woodlands (near Doncaster), not the Picture House in Doncaster city centre.
Two other theatres in Coraopolis, PA listed in 1950 were the Fifth Avenue Theatre, 1032 Fifth Avenue with 340 seats and the Lyric Theatre, Mill Street with 350 seats.
I have a leaflet for The New York Experience. A Trans-Lux/Bing Crosby Presentation. Located at McGraw-Hill Building, (Lower Plaza between 48th & 49th Streets), 1221 Avenue of the Americas, NY NY. 10020. There were 45 projectors and 16 screens.
