Theaters intensify traffic at Barry Road
The opening of a 24-screen movie theater has heightened an already vexing traffic problem at a key Northland intersection – Interstate 29 and Northwest Barry Road.Traffic congestion already was an issue east of I-29 as the Boardwalk Square shopping center expanded and the BarryWoods Crossing shopping center opened. The recent opening of AMC Entertainment Inc.’s BarryWoods 24 movie megaplex with 5,000 seats has added more problems.``Ever since they opened, that.
This drive-in was not on Crestview Drive in 1984. an 1974 aerial photo shows it to be a housing subdivision that has been setteled in for years. Was it on Grand Av. and Commonwealth Drive?
Is this theatre in trouble, the websites are now empty and showtimes for this theatre is nowhere to be found on the internet. Is this a live theatre open only on a part-time basis?
