Don, I’m guessing your refering to “AGAIN FOR THE LAST TIME”. You took it the wrong way, I meant it because the address had already had been requested to be changed by SiliconSam and it had in fact been changed and I was now again asking it to be changed “AGAIN FOR THE LAST TIME”. Perhaps I could have worded it better? Your comment would have been better to have been sent to me via my email which you could have gotten by clicking on my name, but here it is, if you have any further comment.
This drive-in had 1 screen and was around from ABOUT 1961-1975. Anyone with better info, please add it.
This drive-in was near the Main Gate of the U.S. Naval Air Station Dallas where I spent some time different years, but I never saw any evidence of the drive-in.
The Chisholm Trail was a trail used to drive cattle in the late 19th century from Texas to the railhead in Kansas. The cattle drive would take 2 months.
Chuck1231, When you click on the map it gives you the whole United States, so that Court House Square address has to go. 300 block of East Main Street is good start, but any chance you can come up with the exact address. It looks like the entire block is old buildings, so I think the theater is still standing.
We are so wastefull! First they tear down buildings. Next they spend 3 1/3 million $’s building theaters. Bout 10 years later, 3 miles away, Cinemark/Century builds Century 20 Great Mall. So much for long range planning.
When the theater opened in 2000 it was owned by Giddings Company, LLC.
When the the owner decided to retire it was bought on January 1, 2006 by Geon Enterprises, Incorporated.
The Manager is Gordon Jones.
When you go to the map, it shows the United States. My guess is because my Rand McNally lists no Willowbrook in New Jersey. I think Willowbrook Shopping Center is in Wayne, but I don’t know for sure, I’m 40 miles south of Chicago, what do you think?

The Google Satellite Photo Red Dot is about a block too far north. If you click on the Hico Chamber of Commerce, which is 114, that’s fairly close.
