The Odin Drive-in was built for Northland Developoments. Taken over by City Theatres in 1979. A hardtop cinema was planned to be built on the site in 1985, but it was never built. Taken over by Line Drive-in’s in the 1980’s. Bought out by Hoyts in 1988 and closed by them and sold for 1.34 million dollars(Australian) to raise money for more multiplexs.
Opened on 1/7/1950 with “Captain China” and “The dude goes west”. Demolished(date unknown?). The site is now a restaurant(Holiday Showcase) and a shopping centre(Consumer Square Plaza). The entrance road is still there used as the entrance to the shopping centre.
Opened with “Two Women” and “Guns of Navarone”. The screen, marquee, ticket booth, and concession stand are still there. The site is now used for the storage of constrution equipment and materials.

The site is now a shopping centre(Cicero Market Shopping Centre), anchored by a Wal-Mart supercenter. The marquee might still be there, possibly used as the shopping centre’s entrance sign!?
