This theatre opened as the Victoria in 1927. The name change o the Vic Theatre took place in 1939. The Vic was open well into the 1950’s.
The first listing for the Castle Square Theatre was in 1935. Seating was listed at 285.
This theatre opened as the Limberlost Theatre and became the New Star Theatre in 1935 and by 1937 it was just the plain Star Theatre

The vintage photo of the Gem looks like it was a one story building. But Cagney’s Saloon is at the 236 Main St. address and it is a two story building.

The 507 seat Franklin Theatre was located on N. Main St.
The 500 seat Wood Theatre opened in 1947. The theatre was located at 335 Main St., Spencer, WV.
The Auto-Vue Drive-In opened in 1954. It was located at Highway 61 and Patton Road. It was still in operation in the early 1970’s.
The theatre around the corner from the Roxy was the Glen Theatre.

It was called the cooper Theatre into at least the late 1950’s. Should have an AKA Cooper Thesatre
This Indiana Theatre was located at 1017 15th St.
My error, the address according to the City Directory was 226 E. 16th St..
Now a parking garage and retail on the first level.
Opened as the Crystral Theatre in 1910, owner was Gustave Schmidt.
Thanks for the opening year.
The Cinema Art was located at 213 E. 16th St.
The address for the Bel Air Drive-In was 2849 Kentucky Ave. When the drive-in opened it was known as the Maywood Drive-In.
