AMC is currently renovating underperforming theaters first before working on the more popular ones, as was the case with Morristown when they took over that location from Clearview/Bow Tie years after they bought the location from AMC in the late 90s. East Hanover is next.
Any grand opening ads? I remember hearing about this theater via the New York Times 16 years ago. It’s still the largest theater in the NYC area and with the most screens.
Mary Lynn Raskjub used to work at this theater before she started acting. Her first music video was for Beck, “The New Pollution”. 1987 was when Cineplex Odeon opened its largest theater in the nation at Universal CityWalk in LA.

i heard about this opening on the radio on z100. I didn’t even know where New brunswick was as i knew a new brunswick in canada. Is it still new jersey’s largest movie theater? There are two 24 screen theaters in Hamilton and Cherry Hill that share that distinction. The cherry hill 24 screener was built by Loews after Loews merged with Cineplex and the AMC Hamilton 24 was built soon after.

i know. The one in palisades has them i think but that’s a digital imax auditorium. There’s a disclaimer on amc’s website that not all recliner theaters have them in imax theaters. At least Lincoln Square will be the first one to have laser in the NYC area.
laser means sharper images and vibrant colors and stable picture. The aspect ratio of Laser IMAX is more like standard imax vs digital imax which uses a ratio of 1.9 which is an enlarged regular auditorium screen. Voyage of Time is currently playing at this theater in IMAX.

The reviews for the movie aren’t that good, mostly viewers who complained more about the visuals than the storyline.
