The snack bar and projection building was destroyed by a fire in 1993.
The video library in that old dome operated inside there for 40 years. I think there might still some old video library posters visible on the 2 front doors?
Closed in 1983? The video library in the former come concession building closed in(January?) 2023(possibly the last operating video library in Western Australia?). The building is currently still for salei think(after the owners try selling 10,000 DVDs(and Blu-rays?)?
The former gardens site is now the carpark for the Water Coporation(263 Fitzgerald Street. The site of the theatre might the Water Coporation building?
The revoling screen had 3 sides(the 1st side was for showing the movie trailers, the 2nd side was for the orchestra, and the 3rd side was for screening the main movie. The 3sided screen was possibly unique in the World?
Looks like there is still possibly the base of the snack bar/projector room? Possibly the faint hint of the exit road on Murby Street? Still see the entrance road around the remains of the ticket booth at the end of John Street. Possibly still a metal building close to the North West of the remains of the ticket booth(maintenance shed?)?
