June 23 1972 HENDERSONVILLE OUTDOOR CINEMA is playing HORROR beyond Belief! “THE BODY SHOP” second Feature NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD and Third feature on Friday and Saturday is “WHAT’S THE MATTER WITH HELEN?” “THE BODY SHOP” was presented in 4 DIMENSION for extreme Realism. On Saturday night they played the “BODY SHOP” at the CAROLINA 1 so folks in Hendersonville could MEET THE STARS!!! It certainly wasn’t Peter Cushing or Christopher Lee.
These kinds of ads are pricless and our papers use to be filled with them.

I assume Jim is right on with his comment about the CAROLINA being a first run House and makes no sense to close a theatre playing Grade A product being Westerns or the latest Jerry Lewis Comedy.

Boy, Nick what a let down. “2010” I never should watched. It did play at NATIONAL HILLS on the same screen of 2001.But I don’t think it was in 70mm.

Mike Rogers commented about National Hills Theatre on Apr 23, 2010 at 10:31 pm

I saw “LEGAL EAGLES” there after it reopened as a triple. I had tears in my eyes. And it wasn’t Robert Redford that brought them on. A great Theatre ruined for a fast buck.“LEGAL EAGLES” was on the original Large screen, but it wasn’t the same.
