Awww Mike, that’s a shame! I just spent some time with Cathy last night and we were talking about you all. We laughed sooo much. We just like getting together even if it’s not a reunion. We’ll do something fun one day and invite you!!!
This is what I remember about the parking. There weren’t really any parking lots or garages on Broad Street. Well, there was the old Georgia Railroad Bank building…not sure what it’s called now, but I don’t tihnk people were able to park there. There was parking on the sides and in the middle of the street. There were parking lots on the streets behind Broad and people might have used them at one time. I worked there in the later years and it was not really safe to go walking around back there! LOL Keep in mind, this was before they fixed up the Riverwalk and everything.
I have to be off topic a minute…I know I told you all that I would be posting your pictures, but my AC unit went out at the house. It is so hot we could not stay here! My brother has let us use a house he owns in Colu,mbia County until I can get the AC replaced. There is no internet there, so I only get to check on my phone. I’ll hopefully be back soon!
Hahaha….I guess I could just tell you it’s magic or ESP or something,,,,but it’s not! Every time somebody posts something on one of the theatres I have posted on I get an email. I thought everybody did…I wonder where yours go. Is that really your email?
I haven’t quit…I guess I’m just a horrible person! LOL TLSLOEWS sent me some more pics and I haven’t even put them on yet. I will though! My only excuse is that it’s the end of the school year and I am swamped! I’ll be back!

Bill’s memory is AMAZING!!! Last time we got together he was telling stories about me that I didn’t even remember until he started telling them! Since he won’t come on C T, I hope he is writing everything down somewhere…

I talked to Diane about how to get started. We thought it would be a good idea to get together as many names and addresses as we can and send out a letter to see who is interested and hear any ides they might have. The flyer sounds like what we were talking about. Great idea!

The folks here yesterday say they don’t want to wait for the fall…like Bill said, we may not be here in the fall…something to think about :( Anyway, he mentioned having something here because he says he has some film he wants to show. I don’t know how, but he says he can do it…
No he’s not. These were taken when we had Annie at National Hills. I guess it was about 1982. I never even worked with Mike. He had left the company before I started. I met him when he came to the theatre to visit our projectionist.
Hate to be mean, but I hope your show gets canceled so you can be here! I’ve decided that whoever shows up Saturday becomes our reunion planning committee ——YOU BETTER BE HERE EVEN IF IT’S ONLY FOR A LITTLE WHILE!!!
