Did you expect me to post it at every AMC site listed at Cinema Treasures? I picked Lincoln Square because it’s mentioned in the article.
I thought it was taking place at alot of AMC theatres? Why single out this one ?
Should any AMC complex be brought to attention when it comes to a big story, should be the one in Burbank, which historically outdraws this one.
Regarding the above question…

A new AMC Tiered Pricing Policy makes “good” seats even more expensive, according to news reports like this one
Hello-
will the 4K 3-D re-release of Titanic play the IMAX auditorium?
I never quite got wishing a building happy birthday. Given the girth of the building that houses the complex - where would you find a hat that fits?
How would the building blow out the candles on the cake?
have now seen four movies here on four different screens since the introduction of the Laser by AMC projection and am impressed. The theaters actually seem dark when the movie is showing, thanks to richer deeper blacks that make me realize way more than the Dolby Cinema even what we missed in the transition to digital projection. This is also a location where I saw too many movies with a bulb that had passed its “best by” date, and in theory I shouldn’t have to worry about that with the new laser system. And, happy 28th birthday!
Theatres 2 thru 12 now have has AMC with Laser projection. Also uploaded photos of the basement screens that open a few months late in early 1995. Still has Sony Signature Seating, very uncomfortable.
Hello-
will Avatar in 3D be in the IMAX auditorium the whole 2 weeks?

Hello. I would like to know the seats distribution across all auditoria at the opening. The big one had 876, how many did the others have? I don’t think it is mentioned in the comments but there are already 68 pages and I’ve only read the few latest and the few earliest. Thanks.
This theatre’s opening movies include Star Trek Generations (on three screens), Miracle on 34th Street (on two screens), The Professional (on two screens), The Lion King (re-release), The Swan Princess, and Into the Deep and The Last Buffalo in IMAX 3D.

moviebuff82: You asked if NTTD is being shown in 70mm.
Since you saw it.. is it???
The AMC LC site mentions only 40 minutes of it were
shot with IMAX cameras. Who knows now-a-days!!
Was the image wide-screen letter-boxed on this giant screen?
https://deadline.com/2021/10/no-time-to-die-weekend-box-office-1234852700/ kudos to this location for being #1…the movie was pure fun!!
is no time to die being shown in 70mm this weekend?
derail capacity in amc schedule from a few years ago including updated imax and dolby in photos section
zoetmb… Where do you count these seats???
I count 3241 seats.
bigjoe59… Prefer blocking when seat is purchased.. if masking is still needed
M00se1111 alias Frustrated..
I would suggest you look elsewhere.
Please update, the basement 3 screens opened on March 3, 1995. No Grand Opening ad for the extra 3 screens.
Hello-
I know one shouldn’t assume things but. in the year since movie theaters shutdown due to the pandemic I assumed theaters were keeping themselves in tip top shape for their eventual reopening. one thing I thought they’d be doing is programming their online ticket sites so that on a seating chart they would have blocked seats that can’t be purchased. but apparently how they’re doing it is when a person buys a ticket they blockout the seat on either side from being purchased. which way would you prefer?
Tenet will play in IMAX 70mm here, just beginning March 12. Probably want to show Chaos Walking first as that’s a new release and only in theaters

Very annoyed that AMC won’t show Tenet in IMAX 70MM.It being showing in regular Digital. Angelika Village East is running it in 70MM DTS film, but AMC won’t let the people in New York City see it the Nolan wants you to see it. Guess it too expensive to run for only 50 people per showing.
This weekend The Marksman ended Wonder Woman’s reign as the top movie with a paltry gross of $3.7 million in what is expected to be the lowest grossing MLK weekend box office ever. Hopefully things will get back to normal and theatres like this one can show movies again while AMC is struggling to pay its woes in order to fight bankruptcy.
