yes also no trailers a very bad print. the movie stopped twice due to projection problems.
Not sure how to parse that sentence. All 8 of the theatres are dirty and have broken seats?
i went today and no clean theaters and broken seats.
Looks like this is under the same management as the SCREENS AT THE CONTINENT. Webpages are almost identical with that same annoying text animation.
Website looks like something from GeoCities circa 1995. It looks like they have reduced the number of screens to 6? At least I see only 6 movies playing, none on more than one screen.
Any news on this? Did the flea market people ever find an operator to reopen this theatre?
And they don’t seem to know whether they are calling their mall “Marketplace of the Americas” or “Flea Market of the Americas” — they have different logos on different web pages.
Concert halls and stages? Will this require a lot of remodeling to accommodate live shows?
Here is their web site: http://marketplaceoftheamericas.com/
but it still says “8 screen movie theatre FOR RENT” — http://marketplaceoftheamericas.com/theatre.html
looks like its reopening this summer. brice outlet is now called Marketplace of the Americas. they are looking for vendors to open booths at the mall.
“Entertainment MegaPlex with 8 Concert Halls, Stages & Movie Theaters
to draw huge crowds of buyers to your store! ”
Is this still standing, or was it demolished along with the Consumer Square mall last year?
The Cinema City Chain also had a cinema in Edmonton,AB and two in Winnipeg MB. All three was taken over by Cineplex Entertainment.
The Hollywood Chian is for sale. The still have a lease on this location and the other two that are closed.
Pickerington Marcus is east side, as well as Cinemark 16 in Gahanna. The closing of the dollar theater deeply saddens me, though. Any reasons why this happened? Both are thriving popular sites for teenages, with places like CiCi’s Pizza and Steak n Shake nearby.
Which leaves no movie theatres in the entire eastern section of Columbus, other than the Drexel in Bexley. Wow.
Last ran by Studio Theatres now closed.
