The Liberty Theatre Opened Its Doors Sometime Around The Middle Of 1921 And It Is A Really Popular Theatre For Coquille, They Even Appeared In Coos Bay Newspapers Too. After 10 Years Of The Original Building, The Liberty Was Once Closed And Remodeled In October 1931 And Then Reopened On The 10th. In November 1954 (Months After The Noble Theatre In Coos Bay Closed Its Doors), The Liberty Theatre Installed CInemaScope. The Liberty Was Closed In An Unrecognizable Day Around The Late 1950s Or Early 1960s, But The Liberty Could Be Hard Finding Information Depending It Could Say Portland And North Bend Locations (The North Bend Location Is Very Easy To Find Stuff, Depending If You Look Stuff 1955 Or Higher).
The City Of Coos Bay Before The Egyptian And The Old Broadway Came Along Used To Have A Crystal Theatre, A Royal Theatre, And An Orpheum Theatre. The Noble Theatre Was Planned And Constructed On November 5th, 1914 And Said It Will Take 2 Weeks In Time To Build. The Noble Theatre Is Opened In December 1914. When The Egyptian And The Liberty Theatre (Yes There Is A Liberty Theatre Also In Coos Bay) Took Its Role In Operation, The Noble Continued To Operate Until The Middle Of 1954, The Same Year The Liberty Theatre Installed CinemaScope In November 1954. I Can’t Find Anymore Information Of The Noble In Newspapers Years Later.
The Colonial Drive-In Was Closed In Early 1963 After The Entire Colonial Was Completely Destroyed By (Yet Again) Another Tornado. In The Afternoon Of June 22nd, 1963, The Remains Of The Screen Tower Was Caught On Fire And Was Completely Demolished On That Day.
The Bedford Drive-In Opened Its Gates On April 28th, 1949 With Blondie Knows Best. It Was Owned And Operated By Mr. And Mrs. J.S. Corbett.
However, The Bedford Contains A Couple Of Police Investigations Throughout The Years, Such As A Robbery In June 1962 And A Massive Attack With People Throwing Corn In An Inappropriate Area In October 1971 Just Before They Closed The Bedford Drive-In For Good Because Of That Investigation.
