Mike, I am soooo trying!!!
I might have overdone it with HOLLYWOOD 20,but i am 53 and don’t give a damn.
Yeah, you are right.I wish so bad you could hook up wuth your old gang and do what Robin and I are doing with our theatres. she worked Atlanta and has stories there. Now she has something on me about NATIONAL HILLS THEATRE so i can’t wait to see what CATHY told her,,,.HEY ROBIN, why don’t you get Cathy on here to tell all these THEATRE DAWGS what I DID.
O.K.Mike no you did not do anything wrong read on other sites of other theatres sometimes they go WAY WAY WAY off-topic but whats the big deal I know this site was started to save Cinema Treasures talk about history and restoration, but most web sites any type,do not end up as they were set up to be.If it was only for people who really wanted to save old theatres there would not be as many posts as there are.If you do not like whats the posts say skip them and go to the ones that interest you.
I hope ED BLANK gets to see these pictures of the WEIS,HILLTOP.and National Hills, and Daniel Village since he spent alot of time there during his army days.
Geez, TLSLOEWS.did i do something wrong. All i know to do is talk about this theatre like you do to the theatres in your LOEWS chain.Maybe CHUCK 1231 is right maybe we do get away from the theatre. I will make an effort to tie in with NATIONAL HILLS I know Robin will.
ROBIN, WHAT stories about me? I never worked with CATHY I know that for certain. But you can tell me and see if i remember whatever she is talking about.
Do not mean to disagree Chuck but I read many posts on MANY theatres on C.T. some go off-topic for many many many posts not even talking about the theatres listed.I know what the intend of this site is,but I believe stories by persons who worked these houses is part of the history maybe boring sometimes but interesting to them.By the way I know you add alot to these posts with history and photos. Also we are both off-topic here by not saying anthing about NATIONAL HILLS THEATRE so everybody does it sometimes!
You are starting to sound like Warren,Chuck, some of these posts are written by people who worked in these theatres and like to tell there PERSONAL stories, they may get off-topic now and then but they enjoy it.Some people take this site way too serious.Have a great day.
I did warn them , didn’t I???
Mike, Cathy told some stories about you after you left the other night…..hahaha
Yea, things really got good after you guys left!!!
Should I elaborate??? LOL
Robin, I have certain pictures from the theatre in the book I made for you,Like Mr.Pete, that was a black and white picture when it was shot. The cover of the Book could be on CT.what about “DIANE” marquee, you have so much and can design something better than me. I expected Cathy to be on here.Well, you got the same problem I do old employees that just will not get on CT.We could get some Posts on here that would Rival those New York City theatres that have 1000 comments. we need to AIM for THAT.this is AUGUSTA.
Robin, I forgot to ask everyone there what their favorite movie was tht played at NATIONAL HILLS. Ask them. Jan.7 1982 Chevy Chase is showing in"MODERN PROBLEMS" rated PG. {no passes}
Glad you had a good time,do not worry Mike I would not fit in my old suits or uniforms anymore,Robins photos were great wish I could have been there.Type to you later.

I have pictures inside the lobby and concession area…none from inside the theatre. If I can get copies of the ones Mike and Bill have, I will be glad to post them.
Everyone seemed to like the pictures I have where we were playing around with the Annie standees one day. We posed them in different areas of the theatre…funny!
Mikes jacket still fits????Looks like you guys had a good tome.
Nice photos Robin. I see Mike wore his theatre jacket! The photo book you all are looking through… are there any photos showing the interior of National Hills? If so is there any chance you could post them?!
