There is still talk that the remaining 4 walls of the theater will be torn down and apartments will replace the theater. It looks more and more like the apartments will win out.

I was never able to get inside the theater to take pictures. I could only get exterior photos taken. I haven’t been back to Seaside in several years. So the building did not get demolished? I’d like to see any interior pictures. Any chance the current owner could post some interior pictures here?
Wow, this is great! I remember that sign. I thought it was gone for good when Act 3 theaters tore it down. I wish the drive in theater was still in operation.

So it looks like they purchased the surrounding property in order to expand to 3 screens.

It looks like only the center section of seating was replaced with brand new chairs. Still appears to have old seats on the sides.

The front of the theater is in sad shape. At least electricity appears to be still connected.
The mall replaced the theater with a Krispy Kreme donuts shop. The donut store is mostly deserted every time I drive by it.
