Cinema Europa

Located in an imposing building on the Corso d'Italia in the Salario neighborhood in the north of the city centre. The Teatro Bellini was opened as a variety theatre by 1904. Later re-named Cinema Europa, it showed popular movies over many decades. Last operated by My Cityplex Cinemas. Now closed.

Saw the film “Volevo i pantaloni” here in April 1990.

On March 15, 1950 the popular soap opera film “Catene” opened here and at the Capranica. Directed by Raffaello Matarazzo.
