Opened on March 1, 1948 when it was operated by R.A. Goodman. By 1950 it was operated by R.W. Barbee. By 1955 it was operated by Max Reinhardt. Came across an advertisement in the Charlotte paper May 2, 1968, Located in Locust, NC. It was running movies at this date.

The drive-in was located (according to Google) at 812 West Main Street, Locust, NC. Today, the property is a self-storage center with no trace of the drive-in remaining. http://tinyurl.com/housn7a
I have a 1956 motion picture almanac somewhere, sure this drive in is listed, trying to find the book, too much theatre stuff….
