The Village Drive-In opened on 10th October 1957. It was owned and operated by Village Drive-In (Mowbray) Pty. Ltd. and closed in 1985. The site is used as a greyhound track.

Correction – opened on 10/10/1957. Location – Mowbray Race Course, off Georgetown Road.

Located in the middle of Mowbray racecourse. 877 cars. Screen made of 1500 aluminium. Screen size was 96 feet by 40 feet.

Currently used as a greyhound racecourse. The architect was W.A. Wheatland of P & W Planners(Victoria).
