Located in Auchterarder, Perth & Kinross. The Cinema opened in 1926. Around 1930 it was equipped with a British Thomson-Houston(BTH) sound system. The proscenium was 22 feet wide. Seating was provided in stalls and circle levels, and the ceiling of the auditorium was made of pressed tin panels. There was a café attached to the cinema.
Around 1946 it was re-named Regal Cinema. It was operated by J.B. Milne Theatres chain and was still open in 1966. The Regal Cinema had closed by 1980. It is a Brade B Listed building.
It served for many years an antique shop for K. Stanley & Son, but they had moved out by early-2023. There are hopes that it could reopen as a cinema.

Historic Environment Scotland has listed this former cinema as a Category B building. They credit the architect as being Charles T. Ewing of Crieff, built 1925-26, so possibly opened in 1926 rather than 1928.
It is also hoped to re-open this as a cinema once again, the antiques sales has closed. A gallery of the present interior can be found here:
