The Cinema City 7 was owned and operated by Joy Theatres out of New Orleans. The theatre was opened in July 20, 1972 with 3-screens, a further 3-screens were added June 28, 1974. It closed in 2000.

This opened on July 1972 with three screens and three more added on June 28th, 1974 becoming the first multiplex in the Shreveport area. 1974 grand opening ad in the photo section for this cinema.
